Ilana Morgan engages students with experiential service learning projects to understand dance education as advocacy, inclusive learning, and civic engagement for diverse communities.

Ilana Morgan coordinates Texas Woman's University's Master of Arts in Dance low-residency option tailored for Dance Educators. This specialized program offers educators a unique opportunity to enhance their pedagogical practices and engage in rigorous dance education research.

Students in the DNCE 4123: Dance and Public Practice course embark upon a service-learning project with Denton community seniors at the Pecan Place Apartments.

Students in DNCE 4243: Children’s Dance teach a weekly creative movement class to children at Texas Woman's University from the on-campus afterschool program.
